Японская гора Фудзи включена в список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО.

ТОКИО, 22 июня.Организация Объединенных Наций по вопросам образования, науки и культуры /ЮНЕСКО/ включила сегодня японскую гору Фудзи в список Всемирного наследия. Решение об этом было принято в ходе заседания ЮНЕСКО, которое прошло в камбоджийской столице Пномпене.
"Фудзи-сан", как называют гору местные жители, является истинным символом Японии и демонстрирует бережное отношение страны к природе. Наряду с ней, в список было внесено побережье "Михо но Мацубара" в городе Сидзуока, известное своими персиковыми деревьями. Таким образом, теперь 14 объектов в Японии являются частью Всемирного наследия - среди них замок "Химэдзи" /"Замок белой цапли"/ в префектуре Хёго и Мемориал Мира в Хиросиме.
Гора Фудзи - действующий вулкан. Он расположен на острове Хонсю, в 90 км к юго-западу от Токио, и является самой высокой горой в Японии: ее высота достигает 3776 метров.

If you're not familiar with the term supermoon, that's because — at least in terms of astronomy — it's pretty new. The term wasn't really thrown around in astronomical circles much before the March 19, 2011 full moon. But if you know your sign and which house your ascendant is in, you might recognize it. The term is actually a crossover from astrology, and refers to a new or full moon occurring when the moon is within 90% of its closest approach to Earth (thanks to the moon's slightly oval orbit).
Within 90% might not sound like that high a hurdle to clear and, in fact, it isn't. Using that guideline, there are an average of 4 to 6 supermoons per year.

"CHANGE YOUR WORLD" -- CENTRAL BANK VISITOR CENTRE

Visitor Centre of the Central Bank Armenia the only one in the region and in the CIS ... Visit to see a lot of useful things, about the history of the national currency ... and "change your world".
Construction and design works took nearly 4 years, and Visitor Centre opened up in autumn of 2011. The first group of people visited on 20th September, 2011.
Visitor Centre is located in the historic building of the Central Bank.

Exhibition resources include 24 static displays and 2 interactive zones, i.e. a laboratory for checking notes and coins, an automated teller machine, 2 sets of multimedia games, a movie on the history of the national currency, 2 movies on the history and activities of the Central Bank, cartoon films about price stability and financial system’s operations, and thematic video-clips.
High class schoolchildren and students are the main target, and the Central Bank organizes two visits per day for them who are able to come in groups with 20-25 persons in each.
Visitor Centre is open to citizens as well who are interested in the history of money, the Central Bank operations and monetary policy.

Visitor Centre is designed to hold training courses for teachers of schools of general education, thematic lectures and visits of target audience.
Guided tours within Visitor Centre are in Armenian, Russian and English language; displays are bi-lingual: Armenian and English language.
* We are pleased to inform you - the pioneer of Interactive Tables’ usage in the country – Central Bank of Armenia - already has 8 similar interactive device by Mitsubishi Electric. The first 4 Interactive Tables based on 42“ Mitsubishi professional Full HD LCD Displays with Face-up 'in-floor' function and Mitsubishi Assist Interactive Overlays were launched in September 2011 at Visitors’ Center of CBA.
The Center was also equipped with powerful installation and Short-Throw Mitsubishi projectors as well as SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards (suren gasparyan's blog quotes ).
Visitor Centre is open to citizens as well who are interested in the history of money, the Central Bank operations and monetary policy.
